It was a really nice day to go to the beach and say hello to our new cousin Violet Joy! Violet lives out in Colorado with her sister Caroline and my cousin Jen and her husband Ned. Since we all live so far apart, this was our first chance to meet the whole family and say hello. The party was out at a park off of the Peconic Bay on the north fork of Long Island. The kids swam all day long long and got to hang out with all of their cousins from their Dad’s side of the family which is a treat because there are a ton of kids to hang out with.
It is really beautiful out there and we go to take the ferry from New London which was an added bonus that the kids really loved. We have had a great summer so far and days like this are absolutely the reason!
