What an outstanding New Years we had out on the North Fork of Long Island with Uncle Johnny, Aunt Beth, Broadie and Declan this year!
This was our second year going out there for New Years and we really love it. Our kids are all around the same age so they all have a blast, while us parents can relax and just let our hair down and enjoy each others company. This year Beth and John’s good friends Monique and John spent New Years Eve with their 2 boys and it was a really nice time.
What’s also nice is we take the Orient Point Ferry on the way out there which is a special treat for the kids and is also becoming a nice holiday traditon for us. This year we were especially lucky because it was so warm on New Years day we were able to walk down the street to the Peconic Bay and take a walk on the beach which everyone loved.
